Eric, I remember the day you were born so very clear.  I was so happy to have a brother.  You have been my best friend and will always be with me in spirit.  We have had our ups and downs but no matter what we always had each other.  I'm so grateful for the time we had and will miss you until we meet again.    I hope you are able to find peace now and I pray that you left here knowing how much I loved you.  I have so much I wish I could share with you ...  You were an amazing person that blessed my life and many more.  You were talented and full of wisdom beyond your age.   It's not ever gonna be the same without you, I love you.

I met Eric when he was in his early teens, maybe 7th grade. It was at one of Lloyd's summer get togethers. He was happy and getting into mischief. I had fun  watching him  pull my daughter into his circle. We were new in the area and were both making new friends. Raquel was shy but not with Eric. He made their friendship easy and for that,  I loved him.  They reconnected in their 30's and that ease of friendship was still there. They were neighbors at Lloyd's old house (she rented) and he lived next door in a trailer. That place is beautiful but it can be lonely.  I was grateful for his presence and I know that even though he was having a rough time in his life, they also had good times there. Happiness amongst the rough times,..life's little blessings. 
My heart will always have a soft spot in it for him.  Eric, I will miss you and I know Raquel does too. We send you much love.

Suzanne and I remember when we met a 10-year-old kid named Eric. . .polite, and charming.  Within minutes it became obvious this was a kid with an intellect way beyond his years. When he visited us last September we were again reminded of that brilliance as the conversation quickly turned from things personal to the metaphysical. You are missed, Eric.

He was a special person that we wish could have stayed a longer. I remember how kind and gentle his eyes and smile were and I will hold onto that memory. I don't have the right words but please know my heart extends to you right now. I am so sorry for this loss. We will all miss Eric. I send all the love and healing energy.

Eric,
Your dad and my mom have been friends most of our lives, so it seemed fitting when we started becoming friends. You helped me out quite a bit when I lived on the property and became someone I relied on, as well, a friend to talk to about music and life. 
Things I won't forget - Malinda putting the owl statue outside your window and scaring the crud out of you. The time you randomly asked me if you could eat some of my dinner cuz you had no groceries. Haha! Your suspendors that I would make fun of because you looked like a gnome. When you heard me singing and told me you had "heard better". Haha! Bonfires and just hanging out bantering and talking guitars. 
Rest up buddy. I'm sad we didn't get more time but I'll never forget the time we did have and I'm grateful for that. You were a kind and loveable soul. You'll always be in my heart.
