Douglas John Lemmon, born July 19, 1960 to Kenneth Wayne and Patsy Jean Lemmon (Remsberg) in Seattle, WA, departed this life suddenly on June 1, 2021 in Monroe, WA. He was 60 years young. After retiring from Boeing with 31 years of service, Doug enjoyed building homes and working as a contractor. He liked going for bike rides, golfing, camping, and most of all, spending as much time as possible with his grandchildren. Doug is survived by his loving wife and best friend of 40 years, Susan Kimberly (Farnam), sons Michael Benjamen (Lindsie) of Gold Bar, Kenneth Patrick (Kate) of Snohomish, William Douglas (Sarah) of Spokane, and Daniel Joseph (Katie) of Lake Stevens, brother Greg Wayne Lemmon (Linda) of Phoenix, AZ, with niece Crystal and sister Heidi Jean Ramos (Steve) with niece Katie and nephew Kevin of Arlington. Doug is also survived by his favorite people in the world, his 9 grandchildren, Brooke Deann, Rozlyn Marie, Olivia Ann, Natalie Jean, Luke Joseph, Ellany Viola, Rueben Ace, Ezekiel Douglas, and Dottie Ash. He was preceded in passing by both parents and his granddaughter, Viola Kinsley.
A memorial service celebrating Doug’s life will be held on Saturday, June 26, 2021 at 1PM at Purdy & Kerr with Dawson Funeral Home, 409 W. Main St., Monroe, WA 98272. There will be a reception immediately following at the family’s home.
