Charles “Clifford” Query, born April 26, 1955 in Indianapolis, Indiana, departed this life on June 14, 2024 in Snohomish, Washington. He was 69. Clifford proudly served his country in the US Navy as an aircraft weapons mechanic on A-4 Skyhawk’s. He later worked for the Indianapolis Star and News newspaper. Then moved to California working for Mc Donnell Douglas and Boeing as a fuel system specialist. He relocated to Washington in 2011. He loved sports cars and was an avid racing fan. He and his brother Michael worked with the Long Beach California Grand Prix for about 20 years. Clifford was a skilled Chess player and enjoyed golfing, motorcycle riding, and a good game of Texas Hold’em with friends. He is survived by his brother Michael L. Query of Snohomish, sister Tashona Cranfill of Shelbyville, IN, his nieces and nephews, and many, many friends. A Celebration of Clifford's Life will be held on Friday, July 12, 2024 at 2PM at Purdy & Kerr with Dawson Funeral Home, 409 W. Main St., Monroe, WA 98272.
