David is survived by his wife, Elizabeth Ann Whitley; his seven children, Pamela Gillard (Stewart), James David Whitley Jr., (Wendy), Paul Whitley, Brian Huey, Mandy Mullis, Mike Quates (Melisa), Brittany Huey; twenty-two grandchildren; one great grandchild; one brother, Billy Whitley and wife Kathy; one sister: Frances Funderburk and husband Mick.
A memorial to Celebrate the Life of Mr. Whitley will be 2:00 P.M., Sunday, January 24, 2016 at McEwen Colonial Chapel of Monroe.
