Geraldine was born April 5, 1948 in Union County to the late Walter Ernest Rowell and Helen Pressley Lockhart.
Geraldine always put others before herself and loved her family and friends deeply. She was loved by many.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her brother, Jerry E. Rowell, and her sister, Linda Broughton.
She is survived by three children, Patricia Wilson, Angela Moree (Marty) and Dexter Wilson (Brandy); seven grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.
The family will receive friends from 12:00pm to 1:00pm Monday, April 18, 2022 at McEwen Funeral Home of Monroe. A Celebration of Life Service will be at 1:00pm in The Colonial Chapel at McEwen Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Lakeland Memorial Park.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be sent to Hospice of Union County.
