She was born and raised in Union County. Edith loved being outdoors - whether it was gardening, working in the yard or walking, she enjoyed the fresh air. She also loved driving a Union County school bus for the past six years.
Edith is predeceased by her parents, Willie and Pearl Helms, brother, Harold Helms of Chester SC and an infant sister.
She is survived by her loving husband of 57 years, Jim Bradley of Indian Trail, her son, Mike Bradley, daughter-in-law, Melinda Bradley, granddaughter, Audrey Bradley all of Monroe and her niece, Carol Jean Brosi and her husband, Terry Brosi of Goldsboro, NC.
A Memorial Service will be held on Sunday, September 13 at 3:00 p.m. at McEwen Funeral Home of Monroe. The family will greet friends following the service.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be given to the Alzheimer's Association Western Carolina Chapter 4600 Park Rd Suite 250, Charlotte, NC 28209.
