Born on October 3, 1953, Danny was a Union County native. He was an avid deer hunter and especially loved the outdoors as well as working with wood. He worked for Cooper Tools as a machinist for 29 years before retiring and also attended Central Baptist Church in Matthews, NC where he had been an active member since 1997.
Danny is survived by his loving wife of 44 years, Carol M. Crook; and brother, Donald Crook, of Wilmington, North Carolina.
A graveside service will be held on Friday, December 13, 2024 at 2:00 pm at Lakeland Memorial Park, located at 1901 Lancaster Avenue, Monroe, North Carolina.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Central Baptist Church, 4821 Waxhaw-Indian Trail Rd., Matthews, North Carolina, 28104.
