Christine Walsh Foster, 92, passed away on April 14, 2017 at Novant Heath Medical Center in Matthews N.C. Mrs. Foster was born May 19, 1924 in Union County, daughter of Clarence M. Sr. and Ethel Ferguson Walsh, also preceded in death by two sons: Jack Foster and Roy Foster.
Visitation will be Tuesday, April 18, 2017 from 11:00 A.M. until 12:30 P.M. at the McEwen Funeral Home of Monroe. Services to celebrate her life at 12:30 P.M. in the McEwen Colonial Chapel, interment will follow at Forest Lawn East Cemetery in Matthews.
Survivors include her daughter: Fannie Brown, brother: Billy Walsh, 8 grandchildren: Kimberly Roof, Lee Brown, Robin Yates, Rhonda Simpson, Christina Foster, Janey Drye, Deirdre Hasty-Martin and Randy Drye, 10 great grandchildren, 2 great great-grandchildren.
