Born in Union County, North Carolina on April 28, 1967 to Jackie O Hasty and Brenda Hasty Banter, Cam enjoyed hunting, all things sports, and was an avid Duke fan. His most important enjoyment however was spending time with his family, especially his grandkids.
He was preceded in death by his father, Jackie O Hasty; son, Dillon Troy Hasty; and grandparents, Vander and Christine Tarlton and Troy and Grace Hasty. He is survived by his loving wife of 40 years, Lisa Tarlton Hasty; daughter, Kayla Hasty Meyer (Nathan); grandchildren, Landon Cole Meyer and McKinley-Grace Meyer; mother, Brenda Hasty Banter; brother, Taft Hasty (Rachel); and several nieces, nephews, and extended family and friends.
A visitation will be held on Sunday, June 23, 2024 from 3:00 pm until 5:00 pm at McEwen Funeral Home of Monroe, located at 204 South Main Street, Monroe, North Carolina.

Cam will be remembered for his contagious spirit. He always had a smile on his face and found a way to make you laugh. He was a great friend to many and lived life to the fullest. He will be remembered as the “Redneck” that he was.
