Marilyn was born to Nathan and Dorothy (Harris) Nudelman on May 23, 1948 in Brooklyn, NY before moving to her family home in Elmont, NY, which set the stage for weekly extended family gatherings for many years. She raised her own family as a longtime resident of Monroe, CT.
Marilyn has higher education degrees from Nassau Community College (1968), University of Bridgeport (1970), Hofstra University, and Sacred Heart University (MBA 1980).
Marilyn was always an organized entrepreneur, teacher and mother, who ran her successful computer training business, Monroe Business Associates, based in Trumbull, CT, for almost 30 years. She taught computer skills in several countries in Asia through MasterCard International, as well as at local colleges such as Sacred Heart University and Norwalk Community College. She served on the Trumbull Chamber of Commerce and was instrumental in organizing the Trumbull Pumpkin Run for many years. Marilyn loved 4th of July fireworks, spending time with family, being a mother and grandparent, yoga, reading, traveling, and relaxing on a lounge chair on a white sand beach or by her backyard pool.
Marilyn is survived by her husband, Daniel S. Greenberg, daughter Rachel Olivera (Herman) of Monroe, CT, and son Jamie Greenberg (Mehak) of Westminster, CO, granddaughter Hannah, brother Dennis Nudelman (Alice), brother Allen Nudelman (Roberta), mother-in-law Celeste Greenberg, father-in-law Leonard Greenberg, brother-in-law Alan Greenberg, as well as three nephews Nigel, Adam and Austin, and niece Melinda.
Friends and family are invited to visitation Sunday, December 15 from 12:30pm-2:00pm with a service beginning at 2:00 pm at Spadaccino & Leo P.
