Yvonne Steber Holley, "Von", passed away Friday, January 11th, 2013 as a result of an automobile accident. She was born in Charleston, SC and raised in Mobile, AL. She was currently residing at Smith Lake in Houston, AL. Von was a graduate of Davidson High School & Capps College. Von is survived by her husband, James A. Holley, Sr., son James "Andrew" Holley, Jr., brother Joe Whorton, sister Linda Whorton, and future daughter-in-law, Marsha Marie Smith. Von was also survived by her sister-in-laws Mary Ellen Naylor, Regina Mallini, Sr. Becky Holley, Cathy Schwartz, and Margaret Paulus, along with numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces, and great nephews who loved and adored their "Aunt Von." She was also survived by her beloved dogs, Molly and Allie. She was preceded in death by her parents Leroy & Minnie Steber, and brothers, John Steber & Tony Schambeau. Others who played an important role in Von's life are members of the Arley Civitan Club, where Von served as secretary and Meek Elementary School, where she volunteered as a teacher's aide. In lieu of flowers the family requests donations to be made to the Arley Civitan Club, P.O. Box 365, Arley, AL 35541. The family will receive friends from 5 P.M. until 7:30 P.M. on Thursday, January 17, 2013 at Radney Funeral Home, Dauphin Street, with the Rosary at 6:30 P.M. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11 A.M. on Friday, January 18, 2013 from St. Pius X Catholic Church with Reverend Johnny Savoie as celebrant. Pallbearers will be Ken Holley, Robbie Naylor, Paul Naylor, Jud Mallini, Jeremy Parrillo, and Allen Greenhill.
