Tony Joe Endress, age 56, passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, March 6, 2018. He is preceded in death in by his father, Billy Joe Endress, grandparents, five uncles and two aunts. Tony, affectionately known as “T.J. worked through the Alabama State Athletic Association as an umpire for over 30 years. He served as Assistant Football coach for Murphy and Shaw High Schools for several years and was previous owner of the Coffee Counter in the Montlimar Building. T.J. was a member of Christ United Methodist Church. He is survived by his daughter, Blakley Dion Endress, and her mother Lanie Powell, mother, Glenda Mitchel (Billy), sister, Michelle Crain (George) and step-brother, B. J. Mitchel (Kim). He is also survived by numerous other family members, his “umpire” family and many friends. Visitation will be held at Radney Funeral Home on Saturday, March 10, 2018 from 9:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. Chapel services will begin at 11:00 a.m., Rev. Jeff Spiller officiating.
