Sybol "Nana" Bray, age 81, of Mobile, Alabama passed away on Sunday October 7, 2018. Sybol was born December 8, 1936 in Chipley, Florida. She was a strong, amazing woman who prided herself on being self sufficient, even to the point of fixing her own pipes and plumbing. Her true love in life was her family, her grandchildren and great grandchildren brought her so much joy. Sybol enjoyed Family Comedies, Danielle Steele novels and cooking for her family.
She is preceded in death by her husband Barney B Bray, parents Huey and Effie Jenkins, sister Lorraine (J.R.)Thompson. Survivors include daughters Beverly Bray Maitra, Diane (Roy Nelson) Bray Noble, Linda Bray (Earl)Tooley. Grandsons Branden Tooley, Shane (Courtney) Tooley, Joshua (Shay Stanley) Maitra and Nicholas Noble, great grandchildren, Brayden, Tynleigh, Weston and Camden. Extended family includes Virginia "Granny" Collins, Linda "Grandma" Parker, Lee (Susan) Tooley, Randy (Rebecca) Moore, Julia "Nannie" Tooley, and so many more cousins, nieces, and nephews. Along close friends considered family Larry Noble, Tonya Wheat, Scott & Maribeth Clark, Leila Janovski and Debbie Chance.
Visitation for Sybol will be held Tuesday, October 9, 2018 from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Pine Crest Funeral Home, 1939 Dauphin Island Parkway, Mobile, AL. 36605. Funeral service will be Wednesday, October 10, 2018 at11:00 a.m. from the funeral home chapel. Burial will follow in Pine Crest Cemetery.
