Roger graduated from Bloomington High School before joining the United States Navy and service for almost 25 years. After leaving the Navy, Roger was District Program Director for the Boy Scouts of America Council.
Roger was preceded in death by his father, Dean H. Druin and is survived by his spouse, Leslie Victoria (Tori) Glenn. He is also survived by his mother, Karen Joy Druin; his sister, Lori Ann Druin; his daughter, Sheryl Marie Druin; son, Roger Deam Druin, II; and step-son, John Taylor Toel.
Roger has five wonderful grandchildren and one great-granddaughter, with a great-grandson to arrive in November.
The funeral with full military honors will be held at Baranncas National Cemetery, adjoining Pensacola Naval Air Station, on October 3rd at 11:30 a.m. Military Chaplain Ken Griffin, retired presiding.
Pallbearers will be John Taylor Toel, stepson, Richard Joseph Chenowith, son-in-law, and nephew Anthony Joeseph Brown. Honorary Pallbearers are nephew, Gregory Paul Brown, grandson-in-law, Landon James Hose, and brother-in-law, Charles Butler.
Anyone wishing to attend the service who does not possess a military I.D. needs to arrive early to get a pass at the main gate of Pensacola NAS.
A Celebration of Life will be held at the home of Roger and Tori at 3 p.m. on October 3rd, following the funeral. Please call or message Tori for directions and address. An event with further information will be placed on Facebook.
