Robert Emmett McDonald Jr.

Mr. Robert Emmett McDonald, Jr. age 80 and native of Mobile, AL, passed away on Thursday, November 6, 2014. He is preceded in death by his father Robert Emmett McDonald, Sr., mother Lucy Henrietta Brown McDonald, brother Roy Brown McDonald and sister Marjorie Farnell. Mr. McDonald was an attorney who was a member of the Mobile Bar Association, Alabama Bar Association, Knights of Columbus #666 - 4th Degree Knight, Elks Lodge 3108 (Dauphin Island Pkwy.), Mystic Society, Mobile Yacht Club, Mobile Power Squadron and Friendly Sons of St. Patrick. He was a longtime member of St. Pius X Catholic Church and choir, and the Cecilian Chorale. He will be remembered by his children and grandchildren as a loving father and grandfather. Mr. McDonald is survived by his daughters Alicia McDonald Callaghan, Angela McDonald Fogelsong and Shannon Margaret McDonald Clowder (Charles). He is also survived by his grandchildren Ashton Nicole Callaghan Robinson (Chase), Robert William Callaghan, Jr., Meghan Leigh Fogelsong, Rebecca Ainsley Fogelsong, Joseph Burt Veres, III and Carly Danielle Brunson. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, November 11, 2014 at St. Pius X Catholic Church from 11:00 – 12:00 p.m. in the Sardo Center.
