Robert Rolan Hendricks

Robert Rolan Hendricks, 63, life-long resident of Mobile, Alabama, passed away on Thursday, July 22, 2021. Robert was born to Robert L. Hendricks and Ellouise Anderson Hendricks on April 10, 1958. He worked for MAWSS for 35 years, where he worked his way up to the position of Plant Operator II before retiring to take care of his mother. Robert enlisted in the Army at the age of 18, but had a bad knee and was unable to complete boot camp. He was a generous and kind soul – he would give anyone the shirt off his back. Robert enjoyed tinkering with things and inventing new ways to make things work. He loved playing video games and watching Sci-Fi shows such as Stargate: SGI.

Visitation for Robert will be held on Wednesday, July 28, 2021 from 11:30 a.m. until 1 p.m. at Pine Crest Funeral Home on Dauphin Island Parkway in Mobile, with a graveside service immediately following in Pine Crest Cemetery.
