Paul C. Thompson Jr.

Paul Curtis Thompson Jr. age 89, of Theodore passed away on June 12, 2015 at home surrounded by family. Preceded in death by his wife of 69 years, Olivette “Jimmie” Everette Thompson, sisters Dorothy Pauline Hand (T.J.), Olive Pearl McClarty (Gene), Ruby Lee Pholers (Bill), Virginia Davis (Jim), son Paul Curtis Thompson III, grandson Hollis Wayne Sanders, Jr. Survived by his daughters, Olivette Thompson Talbert, Maria Elaine Sanders (Hollis), and “red-headed step-daughter” Sandra Lee Johnson (Robby) 5 grandchildren, and 10 great-grandchildren, numerous nieces, nephews, and friends. Paul enjoyed a full active life, including sailing, camping, gardening, and spending time with his family and friends. He was an avid sailor and racer with the Fairhope Yacht Club and gardener. He enjoyed sharing the fruits of the garden with everyone. Special thanks to the loving and caring staff of SAADS Hospice. Funeral service on Monday June 15 at 2 pm and visitation on Sunday June 14 from 5-8 pm at Pine Crest Funeral Home, 1939 Dauphin Island Parkway Mobile. Interment Pine Crest Cemetery.
