Patricia passed away, peacefully, in her home in Daphne, AL. Preceded in death by her husband Eddie Edward Guidry, daughter: Madeline Hebert, her siblings: Kenneth Dunnagan, Larry, Dickey and Dewey Arcement, Caroline Connor and Peggy Hebert. She is survived by her brother Ned (Lynn) Arcement, sisters; Martha McCool, Susan (Aubrey) Welch and sister in laws: Earline, Nancy, and Valerie Acrement. Her children Eddie (Viola), Bert (Heather), and Patrick (Jeanne) Guidry, Ramona (Alan) Baldridge, and Elizabeth (Pete) Jennings. She has 15 Grandchildren: Michelle Caratini, Melissa Griffin, Erica Duval, Samantha Guidry, Patricia Deaton, Holly Adams, Catherine Williams, Jessica Martin, James Guidry, Michael Guidry, Joey Baldridge, Chase Baldridge, Christy Uteg, Zachary Hall and Christopher Jennings; 19 Great grandchildren and one great, great, Grandson.
Special appreciation to her loving caregivers Elizabeth, Melissa and Patrick, St Joseph's Hospice and Grace Pointe, for their commitment to loving, caring, and enjoying Pat’s rest of her life with her.
Patricia was born in Berwick, La. She married Eddie Edward on February 1st, 1948. They moved to Mobile, AL. in 1952. Her last employment was with International Paper Company and worked there for many years, even after she retired. She loved to volunteer at Providence Hospital, loved playing Bunco and Mexican train dominoes with her friends and family. She was well known for her pancakes, carrot cake, homemade maple syrup, root beer, red beans and rice, Crawfish Etouffee Blanc and Granddaddy cookies. She chose in 2008 to donate her body to science with USA.
The family will have a memorial funeral mass 10:00 a.m. and visitation at 11:00 a.m. with reception to follow at Blessed Francis Xavier Seelos Catholic Church in Spanish Fort, AL on August 26, 2022 her 95th Birthday. Patricia was a member of Blessed Francis Xavier Seelos Catholic Church in Spanish Fort, AL. Her only wish was not to be forgotten: for everyone to remember her.
