Mr. Kyte was a retired Police Officer with the Mobile Police Department.
He was preceded in death by his parents, John and Ina Kyte; brothers, A.D. Kyte and Gilbert Kyte.
He is survived by his wife, Lillian Kyte of Hattiesburg; a daughter, Jamie Kyte James of Hattiesburg; a brother, Johnny Kyte; three sisters, Eulene Norris, Vivian Jerrett, and Vonciel Jerrett; two grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be from 5:00-8:00 PM Friday July 6, 2012 at Radney Funeral Home, Dauphin Street, in Mobile. Funeral services will be held at 10 A.M. on Saturday, July 7, 2012 from the chapel or Radney Funeral Home, Dauphin Street. Interment will be in Wolf Ridge Cemetery.
