Myrtle Lee Brown Calhoun- an 87 year-old native of Opp, AL, a longtime resident of Eight Mile and current resident of Semmes passed away Sunday February 17, 2013. She was preceded in death by her husband of 62 years, James Henry Calhoun. Mrs. Calhoun is survived by her children, Jerry Calhoun (Betty Hall), Charles Calhoun (Jean), Alice Collum (Loyd), Wayne Calhoun, and David Calhoun; 7 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; and 7 great, great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held from the chapel of Mobile Memorial Gardens Funeral Home on Thursday, February 21, 2013, at 2 p.m. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Wednesday, February 20, from 5-8 p.m. Interment will be in Mobile Memorial Gardens.
