Miranda Cox Griffith – a 103 year-old native of Paterson, NJ, a former resident of Dolgeville, NY, and a resident of Mobile since 1961 passed away Wednesday, November 24, 2010. She was preceded in death by her former husband, Dr. Dayton Griffith, Sr. She is survived by her children, Barbara Hanulik of Dawson City, Yukon Territory, Canada and Dayton Griffith, Jr. (Mary) of South Daytona, Florida; four grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and two great, great-grandchildren. Graveside services will be held in Mobile Memorial Gardens on Saturday, November 27, 2010, at 2 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Covenant Hospice, 1040 Stanton Rd., Daphne, AL 36526.
