Mary Merrill Clark

Mary was a homemaker, wife, school teacher, and mother to three adoring children. Mary was a devout Christian and a longtime member of Fulton Road Baptist Church. Mary was a positive Christian influence on the many lives she touched while she was a school teacher at Adelia Williams Elementary School.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Henry Neal Merrill and Florie Tisdale Merrill; and her husband, James Paul Clark.

She is survived by three children, Marita C. (Mitchell) Martin; James Paul "Jim" Clark, Jr., and Joseph Henry "Joey" Clark. Mary was loved and will be dearly missed by her family, friends, and dear cousins.

The family would like to thank the staff of Gordon Oaks Health Care Center for their service during Mary's final months.

Visitation will be from 1 P.M. until 2 P.M. on Tuesday, October 4, 2011 at Mobile Memorial Gardens Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at 2 P.M. on Tuesday from the chapel of Mobile Memorial Gardens Funeral Home. Interment will be in Mobile Memorial Gardens.
