Martha Simon Henderson – a native and lifelong resident of Mobile, AL died Saturday, May 5, 2012 at home. She was a graduate of Murphy High School and attended the University of Alabama. She was a member of Springhill Avenue United Methodist Church and the RBWA (Railroad Business Women’s Association). She was preceded in death by her parents, Otto H. and Vivian M. Simon; and brother, Otto E. Simon. Survivors include two sons, Robert E. Henderson, Jr. and his wife, Diane, and Mark S. Henderson and his wife, Tana; three sisters, Barbara Martin-Lewis, Vesta “Dee” Simon and Katherine E. “Katta” Simon; and grandchildren, Sarah Peters, Kalyn, Fagan and Trace Henderson, Christina Smith and Pamela Stephens. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, May 8, 2012, at 10 a.m. from the chapel of Radney Funeral Home. Visitation will be Monday from 5-8 p.m. at the funeral home. Interment will be in Pine Crest Cemetery.
