Anne shaver passed away peacefully on December 10, 2023 after a long illness.
She is survived by her sister, Susan Shaver Buchanan, half brothers, John Paul Gibbons, Christian Robert Gibbons and half-sister, Catherine Shaver Filla and by numerous nieces and nephews.
Dr. Shaver was an internist with Diagnostic and Medical Clinic until 2022. She had a previous career as an advertising art director in Birmingham, Tampa and Atlanta before attending the University of South Alabama College of Medicine in Mobile. She completed her residency training at UAB, the University of Alabama in Birmingham.
A Memorial Service will he held at All Saints Episcopal Church, 151 South Ann Street, Mobile, AL. on Saturday, January 6, 2024 at 2:00 p.m.
in lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Habitat for Humanity or to All Saint Episcopal Church.
