Mr. Ellis is survived by his loving wife of 48 years, Mary Ellis; daughters, Jennifer Ellis and Ashley (James) Brainerd; son-in-law, Paul Sanford; brothers, Gary and Jerry Ellis; grandchildren, Alex (Janet) Sanford, Andrew Sanford, Christian Pate, Neah Pate, Lilly Pate, Serena Pate, Madison Brainerd, James Brainerd, Presley Brainerd along with many great grandchildren and cousins.
Larry was Captain of the fire department, Vietnam vet, college graduate, and devoted husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather, and brother.
He loved life, laughing, Alabama football, Atlanta Braves, and an unlimited amount of dad jokes. He will be truly missed by everyone and he made this world a happier place.
