Kathleen Doris Lockhart

Kathleen Doris Yarbrough Lockhart, a native of Langdale, AL and longtime resident of Mobile, AL died Monday, May 12, 2014. Kathleen was a dedicated Christian woman who loved family intensely and never, ever met a stranger. She was always smiling and had a kind word for everyone. She will be remembered for her zest for life and her infectious smile. In Heaven she will be telling all who will listen about the wonderful life that God made possible for her on this earth. Rest in God’s loving arms – we love you. Kathleen was preceded in death by her mother, Willie Hayes Yarbrough; her father, Robert Burton Yarbrough, and her daughter, Shelia Lockhart. She is survived by her husband, Lawrence “Rass” Lockhart; her son, Randy, and his wife, Karen; three grandchildren, Morgan, MacKenzie and Mason; her sisters, Ellene Rice, Janelle Stodghill and Shirley Allen; her brother, Robert Yarbrough, Jr. and other relatives. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, May 14, 2014 at 11:00 A.M. from Luke 4:18 Church. The family will receive friends at Mobile Memorial Gardens Funeral Home Tuesday evening, May 13, 2014 from 5 to 8 P.M.
