Jerrod Wright Hardy, age 48, resident of Mobile, Alabama, passed away on Saturday, August 27, 2022 following a brief illness. Jerrod is preceded in death by his grandparents, Ernest and Chloe Wright and William Eugene and Irene Hardy, Sr.
Jerrod attended the University of South Alabama. He was an avid Oakland Raiders fan, enjoyed watching football, spending time on the beach and fishing, especially with his granddad when he was younger.
He is survived by his son, Ashton, mother and step-father, Fran and Steve Lyda, and father and step-mother, William and Carol Hardy. He is also survived by his sister, Britney Sanders (Don) and brother, William Hardy (Lori).
Visitation will be held at Radney Funeral Home-Mobile on Saturday, September 10, 2022 from 10:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m. Graveside services will be held at 1:00 p.m. at Oddfellow Cemetery in Bayou La Batre.
