Hugh E. Hardaway, Sr. retired from the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers in Mobile, AL, passed away at the age of 95 on April 24, 2017, in Tallahassee, FL. After graduation from Georgia Tech in 1943, he served in the U.S. Army Signal Corps in the Pacific Theater in World War II. He was member of Bradfordville Baptist Church in Tallahassee, FL. He is survived by his son, Hugh E. Hardaway, Jr.; grandchildren, John Preston Hardaway, Taylor Hardaway (Jordan Kendrix) Brown, and Christopher Ryan (Erin) Marcet; great-grandchildren,; and other relatives and friends who will miss him greatly. The visitation will be Monday, May 1, 2017, from 11:30 a.m. until 1:30 p.m. at Radney Funeral Home, Mobile.
