Hilton Dewayne "John " Tucker

Hilton Dewayne "John" Tucker, age 60 of Fairhope, AL and formerly of Grand Bay, AL, passed away on Wednesday December 21, 2022 after a hard fought battle with cancer. He is preceded in death by his parents, H. L. Tucker and Mary Ann Hartley Fye, and sister Candy Tucker.

John, affectionately known as “Tucker” was employed with Radney Funeral Homes and Pine Crest Funeral Home in Mobile as a Funeral Director. He was previously employed with Ellis Funeral Home in Nashville, TN and Wolfe Bayview Funeral Home in Daphne. Tucker was an avid fan of Alabama sports, especially Alabama football and girls softball. He loved spending time near the water, just sitting on the beach, or fishing on the river with his children and grandchildren. He enjoyed sharing his love for Mardi Gras with family and friends. It was always a party !!! John also liked spending time with his friends at the local casinos.

John is survived by his children Katie Everette (Timmy), Jacob Tucker (Jamie Davis) and Amanda Daly (Chris). He is also survived by his brother, Tim Tucker (Sherry) and sister, April Tucker, grandchildren, Karlie Everette, Dawson Tucker and Sophia Daly and step-father Richard Fye. Nicole Burroughs, special friend and mother of his grandson, forever friends Robert and Leisa Bollin, Janice Roberts and Ken Hutchison are also left to cherish his memory. He will be missed by all.

A celebration of John’s life will be held at Radney Funeral Home on Friday, December 23, 2022 from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m.
