He is survived by his wife of 25 years Cheryl “Susanne” Spafford. one step daughter Lindsey Foster McDerment (Ryan Smith), and 2 grandchildren: Wyatt L McDerment and Walter M McDerment. Also survived by father Dr. Gordon Lee Spafford Sr., siblings: Stephen D .Spafford, Ben M.Spafford (Halley), Katrina Spafford Holbein (Frank), and niece and nephews Heidi Holbein, Franklin “Knight” Holbein, and Benjamin M Spafford Jr.
Lee was the owner of Distinctive Homes Inc. a local home builder, loved hunting, and was a passionate fisherman. He will be greatly missed by family and friends. A celebration of his life will be held at a later date.
