Flora Mae Edwards

Mrs. Flora Mae Johnson Edwards - departed this life on Tuesday, October 4, 2011. She was preceded in death by her parents, Frank and Viola Johnson, her daughter, Barbara Harvey, and two grandchildren, Victoria Edwards and Jersan P. Moore.

She leaves to cherish her memories to her husband of 59 years, Pastor Sanders Edwards, Jr.; eight children, LeBarron (Marilyn) Edwards, Mobile, Caron Edwards, Mobile, Dr. Sandra Moore, Atlanta, Ga., Minister Charles (Doris) Edwards, Mobile, Cynthia (Rev. Larry) Montgomery, Daphne, Ala., Aronita (Robert) Wallace, Mobile, Darlene (Ernest) Caffey, Atlanta, Ga, and LaTanya (Elder Julius) Bryant, Mobile. She also leaves behind 9 sisters and brothers, 20 grandchildren, 9 great-grandchildren, and a host of other relatives and friends. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Radney Funeral Home, 3155 Dauphin St., Mobile, Ala. 36606. Viewing will be held Monday, October 10, 2011, 5-8 p.m., at Radney Funeral Home. Services will be held Tuesday, October 11, 2011, 11a.m., at Mt. Zion Baptist Church, 1012 Adam St. Mobile Ala, with Dr. Montgomery Portis officiating. Interment will be in Lawn Haven.
