Dorothy Spaulding Deihs

She was preceded in death by her parents Thomas Clarence and Lillie Spaulding, all her brothers and sisters and granddaughter Ashley Delaney. Dorothy is survived by her daughters Janice Boothe, Brenda Deihs (Nashville, TN), Pennie Deihs and Theresa (Sam) Groves. Grand children Janice Frisbey, Krystal (David ) Bearden, Sabrina Deihs (Nashville, TN), Christina( Grant) Ayers (Erie, Illinois) and Amanda(Chase) Powell (Davenport, Iowa). Great grandchildren Joshua Boothe, Zoey Bearden, Sarah Grace Bearden, Chandler Ozmon (Indiana), Samantha Ozmon (Indiana), Aiden Ayers (Erie, Illinois), Myles Ayers (Erie, Illinois) , Paisley Powell (Davenport, Iowa) and nieces, nephews and other family and friends. Especially one devoted person, Elizabeth Leigh.

All who knew Dorothy knew of her love for Mardi Gras, she went no matter the weather. She loved her volunteer job with the Foster Grandparent Program. Family will receive friends at Radney Funeral Home on Sunday August 6 from 5 to 8 pm. Family will host a small gathering at the Mobile Mardi Gras Museum on Government Street from 1 to 3 Monday August 7, 2023.
