Donald Langdon Overstreet

Donald Overstreet, a 71 year old native of Mobile Alabama and long time resident of Gulf Shores, went to his heavenly home on September 17th. Don will be remembered for his kind and humorous spirit. His joyful demeanor was contagious. Daddy knew no strangers and had the ability to make everyone feel worthy and loved. He is predeceased by this mother, Esther Conditt, father, Andrew Overstreet and brother, Gary Overstreet. He is survived by his four children: Donald Overstreet Jr., Beverly Zalewski, Eric Overstreet and Allison Overstreet. His grand-children were his treasure: Victoria Zalewski, Alex Zalewski, Amanda Zalewski and Czar Overstreet. He is also survived by Beverly Martin, the mother of his children, many other friends and family. We honor Judy Do Hollis (RN) and daughter of his heart for her devotion, loyalty and friendship. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, September 20, 2012 at 10:00 AM from the chapel of Mobile Memorial Gardens Funeral home. Interment will be in Mobile Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be held on Wednesday evening from 6 to 8 PM at the funeal home
