Connie was preceded in death by her parents Mack and Dorothy Deaton.
Connie is survived by her son & daughter-in-law, Charles E."Chuck" Broadus (Kimberly); son, Stephen "Mark" Broadus; sister & brother-in-law, Peggy D. Russell (Gene); grandson and his wife, David C. Broadus (AnneMarie); and granddaughter Julia M. "Julie" Broadus.
Connie was a lifelong resident of Mobile, graduate of Murphy High School class of 1965, and a member of Cottage Hill Baptist Church. Connie was a beautiful, gracious, humble lady. She was also a devoted mother and grandmother (affectionately known as MaMaw C) with a gentle heart and spirit. She will be truly missed by her family and all those that knew her. We are proud of the life she lived, the battle she fought with cancer, and the legacy she left.
A visitation for Connie will be held Saturday, August 6, 2022 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 p.m., followed by a chapel service at 2:00 p.m.
