Claudette June Crabtree

She was born in Mobile as Claudette June Lee 89 years ago to Claude and Lucille Lee of Semmes, Alabama. A resident of Semmes for over 60 years, she resided the last two years at Somerby Senior Living in Mobile. Claudette was a local business owner of Unique Fashions Dress Shop, Storage Unlimited and a family business of Ferns Unlimited.

A devoted mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, her joy was spending time with family.

Claudette is preceded in death by her husband, Jere A. Crabtree, Sr.; her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Claude Lee, and her sister, Freddie Gale McPherson.

She is survived by her daughter, Paulette Crabtree Watson (Greg); son, Jere Austill Crabtree, Jr. (Kathy); grandchildren, Holly W. Treadwell (Jesse), Gregory Hamilton Watson, Jr. (Ashley), Jere Austill Crabtree, III, (Ashley), Michael Michael,Jr. and Sarah Michael; great-granddaughters, Everly and Leighton Treadwell; sister, Judy Arnold (Chris); nieces, nephews and other family members.

Pallbearers will be Austill Crabtree III, Hamil Watson, Brad McPherson, Joe Cooper, and Jesse Treadwell.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday, October 1, 2024, at Radney Funeral Home on Dauphin Street in Mobile. Visitation is from 12:00pm - 2:00 p.m. followed by a funeral service at 2:00 p.m.
