He was preceded in death by his father, Charles Henry McCardle, Sr.
He is survived by his son and daughter in law, Jonathan and Kathryn McCardle, his mother, Bobbie McCardle, brother Randy McCardle, sister, Stephanie Gremillion and former wife, Jan McCardle.
He was a graduate of Shaw High School and University of South Alabama. Charlie retired from pharmaceutical sales; a career he loved. He was a loving, good and kind son to his mother, exceptional father to Jonathan and loving husband to Jan. He loved spending time with his three rescue dogs Murphy, Sophie, and Nellie. Charlie was a believer and is with Our Lord in Heaven.
Visitation is 10:00-11:00 am Thursday, December 22, 2022 followed by service at 11:00am; Moffett Road Baptist Church, Mobile, Alabama. Dr. Doug Wilson will officiate. Graveside Service and burial will be 1:00 pm at Memory Gardens, Fairhope, Alabama. Dr. Eric Hankins will officiate. Our family would like to thank the many friends who have reached out in love, prayers, phone calls, visits and meals.
