Buren "Pete" Jessie Cobb Jr.

He was a member of St. Matthews Catholic Church. Pete was a graduate of the University of Alabama and was a huge supporter of the football team as a student supporting Bear Bryant until the 2021 SEC Championship. He played football for McGill and officiated high school football games for 25+ years. Pete enjoyed the revelry of Mardi Gras as an active Participant for over 50 years.

Pete was preceded in death by his son, Bradley Cobb; and brother, Donald Cobb.

He is survived by his loving wife of 58 years, Betty Jo Cobb; son, Pete Cobb (Michelle); grandchildren, Christian Cobb, Bailey Cobb, Bailey Cobb, and Peyton cobb; as well as many beloved friends and family.

Family will be arriving at St. Matthews Catholic Church at 12:30 on Wednesday, December 22, 2021 with a mass to begin at 1p.m.. there will be a graveside service to follow at Pine Crest Cemetery on Dauphin Island Parkway.

Pall Bearers will be Christian Cobb, Peyton Cobb, John Repoll, Tom Repoll, Bill Connor and Joey Robertson; Honorary Pall Bearers will be Danny Harrison, Buddy Wilder, Bubba Lott. Roby Steed
