Born on May 15, 1937, in Mobile, Alabama, Anna Dell was a precious gift to the late James Dees Wilkinson and Catherine Elizabeth Denty Wilkinson. She was also preceded in death by 3 great-grandchildren: Courtney, Atashia, and Ariel Bice.
Anna Dell was a 1955 graduate of Murphy High School.
Anna Dell lived a full life dedicated to her family. She was a beacon of love and light, a devoted mother, a nurturing grandmother, and a guiding presence in the lives of her cherished family. Left to carry her memory are her dear children: Brenda Dixon (Welton), Robert Pritchard (Joellen), Donna Bice (Brad), and Paul Pritchard (Angie). Anna Dells love extended to her 13 grandchildren and 36 great-grandchildren, whose impact on her heart was immeasurable.
Throughout her life, Anna Dell humbly dedicated herself to a career in the moving and storage business, serving with unwavering dedication for over four decades. As a founding employee and member of Tide Moving & Storage Co L.L.C., she exemplified the values of diligence, integrity, and selfless service to others.
Anna Dell’s soul found solace and strength in her unwavering faith. She was a member of St. Dominic Catholic Church, where she sought spiritual nourishment. Her unwavering devotion to her beliefs guided her steps, illuminating her path with grace, love, and compassion for all.
In moments of quiet reflection, Anna Dell found solace in reading. Year after year, she embraced the gift of literature, consuming over 200 books per year.
Visitation will be held from 5 p.m. until 7 p.m. on Thursday, November 2, 2023 at Pine Crest Funeral Home on Dauphin Island Parkway in Mobile. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday, November 3, 2023 at 10 a.m. at St. Dominic’s Catholic Church in Mobile, with the Rite of Committal immediately following in Pine Crest Cemetery.
Active pallbearers will include John Phillip Dixon, Clay Dixon, Ian Dixon, Matthew Joines, Chase Pritchard, and Cody Bice. Serving as honorary pallbearers are Jonathan Dixon and Keith Bice.
Anna Dell Pritchard’s departure leaves an indescribable void in our hearts, yet her spirit will forever dwell among us.
Eternal rest grant unto her, O Lord,
And let perpetual light shine upon her.
