Amelia Augusta Dunn

Amelia Augusta Miller Dunn – a 92 year-old native and resident of Mobile passed away Thursday, June 9, 2011. She was a member of St. Paul’s Episcopal Church, the Azalea City Tolers, and a local mystic society. Mrs. Dunn was preceded in death by her husband of over 50 years, Prince Albert Dunn. She is survived by her children, LTC (R) Robert A. Dunn (Kaaren) of Madison, AL and Marion Platt (Braxton) of Citronelle, AL; five grandchildren, Sarah, Elizabeth, Andrew, Amelia, and Ernest; other relatives and friends. Funeral services will be held from St. Paul’s Episcopal Church on Monday, June 13, 2011, at 10 a.m. The family will receive friends at Mobile Memorial Gardens Funeral Home on Sunday, June 12, from 5-8 p.m. Interment will be in Mobile Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to St. Paul’s Episcopal Church, 4051 Old Shell Rd., Mobile, AL 36608, or your charity of choice.
