Teresita Cunanan Rivera

Teresita Cunanan Rivera, age 90, of Mission Viejo, California passed away on Saturday, February 26, 2022. Teresita was born December 5, 1931 in Mabalacat, Pampanga, Philippines to parents Felix & Roberta Cunanan. She was the middle child of seven; three brothers and 3 sisters.

In June of the early 50's she married the love of her life, Creciente Rivera Sr. Together they had nine children; four boys and five girls; Manny, Jolly, Sonny, Jojo, Romeo, Eloisa, Cora, Grace and Lorena.

In September 1982, they immigrated to Southern California. Teresita and Creciente worked in Environmental Services at South Coast Medical Hospital in Laguna Beach for over a decade and a half.

In retirement, Teresita help raise her 24 grandchildren, they loved going to her home over the summers. She cooked and catered many family gatherings. Some of her hobbies were gardening, watching WWE, playing cards and mahjong with her neighborhood friends.

Teresita taught her family to love one another and the Lord. She is remembered as a woman of faith and the loving leader of her family.

Teresita passed peacefully surrounded by her loved ones.
