Rose Annie Christy

Rose Annie Lopez Christy passed away on October 7th, 2024, with her family by her side. Rose was born in Earlimart, California, on April 7th, 1937, to Aurora Acevedo Lopez and Guillermo Lopez. She graduated from Delano High School in 1957, moved to Los Angeles soon after, and met her husband, Charles Christy, working at Spectrol Electronics Company in San Gabriel.

Rose and Charles married in the summer of 1962 and lived in Capistrano Beach and San Juan Capistrano for over 45 years. Rose is survived by her four children: Alan Christy of San Juan Capistrano, Craig Christy of Prescott Valley, AZ, Ryan Christy of Ladera Ranch, and Valerie Christy-Morton of Yorba Linda. Five grandchildren also survived her. Rose predeceased her husband in death.

Rose was a loving mother, grandmother, and friend to many. She enjoyed gardening and making her home beautiful and welcoming to all. She was also known for her wonderful crafts, which she would make every holiday season. She was a fantastic cook and always had a seat at her table for anyone in need. Rose was immensely proud of her family, always lending a helping hand. She cherished and loved all her grandchildren deeply. Rose leaves behind nothing but beautiful memories.

A memorial service will be held on Friday, December 13th, at 4:00 p.m. at Fairhaven Memorial

Services in Mission Viejo. A reception will follow.
