It is with deep sadness we announce the passing of Norman Hall Fawcett after a valiant battle with cancer. Norm was born in Los Angeles to John A. Fawcett and Mildred Hall Fawcett on the fourth of July 1934. He and his older brother Jack (deceased in 1980) had an idealistic childhood in the Leimert Park area. Norm graduated from Dorsey High School in 1952. After a short stint at UCLA, Norm married his high school sweetheart Carole Aney. The moved to Manhattan Beach to raise their family. They had two children, Mitchell and Alison (Gary). Norm went into real estate and worked many years for Shorewood Realty. He then opened his own companies, Norman Fawcett Realty and Lane and Fawcett Realty. When Norm retired He and Carole moved to beautiful San Clemente and started a new chapter of fun and friendships. He and Carole traveled, Norm golfed and played cards while meeting many wonderful new friends. Norm was always a positive, dynamic upbeat person who was loved by all. He kept every friend he ever made. He took amazing care of his wife Carole of 63 years until her passing in 2018. He is survived by his children Mitchell and Alison (Gary) and his grandchildren Mathew (Juddie) and Curtis. He is also survived by his girlfriend CJ Reagan. They spent the last four years together in Mission Viejo while traveling, seeing friends and going to as much theater and musical concerts as they could squeeze in. Norm didn’t waste a minute of his ninety and one half years. He had and wonderful and happy life. He would want you all to CARRY ON!!
