Ali Sadaghiani Zadeh (77) of Mission Viejo, California was born on December 21, 1944 and peacefully passed away on November, 11, 2022. Ali was born in Tabriz, Iran to Boyouk Sadaghianizadeh and Khanom Kebritsaz-Tavakoli.
He was a member of the Iranian army as a youth and as an exchange student attended Northeast Oklahoma Junior College and Missouri University of Science and Technology where he pursued his degree in Computer Science.
In 1976 he married his wife, Tooran Zadeh.
Ali was incredibly passionate about his family, both here and in Iran. Never did a week go by without a phone call to his relatives back home. His attention was continually on his children and was at as many activities as possible. He attended more than his fair share of football games and cheerleading competitions.
Ali and Tooran made the courageous decision to start a new life in the United States after the revolution in Iran. They initially lived in Texas and Oklahoma before they made their home in Orange County, California. Ali was incredibly proud of his Turkish background but was equally appreciative and supportive of his new homeland, the United States of America. He confirmed this in 1988 when he became an American citizen. As an Iranian immigrant he loved trying to fit into American culture, this included rooting for “America’s team” the Dallas Cowboys. He was also a big fan of the Laguna Hills Hawks, Saddleback Gauchos, Colorado State Rams and the Los Angeles Lakers.
Most weekends Ali would spend time cooking, working in the garden and pruning his roses.
All who met him and knew him will not forget his smile and his laugh. He was the life of the party; he lit up every room he was in. His friends and family will miss him greatly.
He was preceded in death by his father, mother and his brother, Hossien Sadaghiani Zadeh.
Ali is survived by his wife, Tooran of Mission Viejo, Daughter, Laela Schmidt (Joshua) of Laguna Niguel, Son, Reza Zadeh (Allyson) of Timnath, Colorado and 4 grandchildren: Olivia (14), Owen (12), Macy (9), Liam (1)
The family would like to invite you to join them for a celebration of life at Fairhaven Memorial in Mission Viejo ( 27856 Center Dr, Mission Viejo, CA 92692) with a traditional Iranian meal to follow in the reception hall.
