Jose Luis was born on February 22,1951 to parents Eloy Gonzalez Doria and Maria Barrera Villarreal.
Jose Luis is preceded in death by his parents and his spouse of 46 years Angelica Hernandez Gonzalez.
He is survived by his children, Angelica P. Cerda (Mario), Mercedes F. Gonzalez, Jose Luis Gonzalez Jr., Idalia A. Lara (Victor D) and Paloma D Uribe (Jorge); Siblings, Isabel Alvarez and Eloy Gonzalez. Jose Luis also leaves behind 11 grandchildren.
Jose Luis was a free spirit who made light of every situation. He was a jokester and always but a smile on those around him. He spent his working years as a truck driver doing what he loved, traveling all over the United States. He continued traveling into his later years and on his free time he enjoyed drawing and spending time with his family.
Jose Luis will be missed by any and everyone who knew him.
