Brother, i remember being with you from elementary all the way up until graduation walking down the isle in the convention center for Mission highschool, we were not very close but we both knew eachother because we had a few classes together, i remember you because when my parents wouldnt pick me up on time at alton jr high they would send me inside to wait & i would see you there aswell, the only difference was you were waiting for your dad to get out of work, i knew he was a janitor and they would leave about 30-1hr after school release. Its very cruel the way this happened and sad that the police, nor county was able to do you the justice you and your family deserve, i feel very sad the system has failed you & everyone who loved you.. i always think about you around this time of year & i still pray you get your justice. If i would be a cold case investigator, i would go straight to this one and open it up.. RIP Jacob Jay Villarreal, you were always a good friend & a good soul to me. Sending you a Merry Christmas to the heavens as i wipe tears from my face… you didnt deserve any of this in my eyes brother……

I remember when we were in college and would hang out with me and my friends occasionally. Then about a year or two ago I saw you again working at a school as a security guard. You were always a really cool guy. Rest In Peace friend. You didn’t deserve any of this.

Joe my deepest condolences to you and your family. My memories of Jacob as my kindergarten student is a quiet kid full of joy and anxious to learn. He was a great student who will truly be missed. ❤
