Gregoria M Zepeda

Gregoria M. Zepeda, 87, went to be with the Lord on Sunday, May 4, 2014. Gregoria was born on March 12, 1927 in McAllen, Texas to Fidel Mendoza and Marcelina Salinas. Mrs. Zepeda was an accomplished seamstress, and she enjoyed quilting and gardening. Mrs. Zepeda is preceded in death by her husband, Daniel Zepeda, her parents, Fidel and Marcelina Mendoza; 2 brothers, Fidel and Isaac Mendoza and her aunt Paula Garcia Mendoza who guided her throughout her life. She is survived by her 7 children, Lydia (Richard) Moncure, Carlos (Olga) Zepeda, Eduardo (Diana) Zepeda, Hector (Sulema) Zepeda, Daniel (Mirthala) Zepeda, Irene (Teo) Lerma, Julio Cesar Zepeda; 17 grandchildren; 16 great grandchildren; siblings; Olga Cordova, Reynaldo Mendoza of Aurora, IL, Eva Mendoza, Martha Mendoza, Robert Mendoza and Evangelina Moya Gonzalez of Delmita, TX. Family will receive friends from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. with a 7 p.m. prayer service Wednesday, May 7, 2014, at Funeraria del Angel in Mission. Funeral service will be at 10 a.m., Thursday, May 8, 2014 at Funeraria del Angel in Mission. Interment will follow to Valley Memorial Gardens in Mission. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to the care of Funeraria del Angel in Mission, a dignity memorial provider, 3611 N. Taylor Rd. in Mission.
