Mrs. Zavala was one of a kind! There was no one like her. She genuinely cared for the students, staff, and the Alvarez community. She will be greatly missed.  I will miss her smile, her attitude, her spunk and grit! Rest in Peace Mrs. Zavala. We love you and you will always be a part of Francisca Alvarez Elementary.

Tia Elva will be missed by many of us. I always remember her being happy, giving, and so full of life. She always had the best outfits and loved wearing her jewelry. Elva also loved spending time with her brothers and sister and reminiscing about good memories.

Wow! I'm so totally heartbroken. Sending prayers to her family.  I am so grateful  I met her she  was an  amazing person.  I was blessed I  was able to work with her!  She taught me so much. She always made sure our kids were safe.  I am sure gonna miss seeing her around.😔💔 RIP Ms.Zavala!

Soo sad to hear this heartbreaking news. I remember Ms  Zavala as a wise and loving grandma, ready to help wherever needed with big smile and heart. She loved our school,   Alvarez Elementary and each one of us.  Great soul. She earned so much respect from us all. My deep condolences for the loss. 
 

Mrs. Zavala was always so loving and caring. I looked forward to her hugs every morning and words of encouragement.  Her smile always made my day.  I would refer to her as Grandma Alvarez because she was like family and so nurturing to everyone.  We were so blessed to have her support at our campus.  She will be greatly missed and always remembered. 

My most heartfelt condolences to the entire family. I am so saddened to hear of her passing. I  can only imagine the loss for the family.  We have lost an angel on Earth but gained a great angel in Heaven .  I was blessed to know Mrs Zavala for the last 10 years. She had such spunk and spark. So full of good advice and wonderful stories about personal experiences. She reminded me so much of my grandmother I would call her “ Grandma”! She was our best crossing guard. She volunteered out of genuine love and concern for our Alvarez Elementary Students. She will be missed and remembered always. She will forever be in my heart. May she Rest In Peace!!

I will forever remember Ms. Zavala as being the sweetest lady I ever new!  Always full of energy, always so happy, always willing to help our school, Alvarez, early in the morning, full of energy, kind, and beautiful!  I admired her because she was my role model, I want to be like her one day!   She would always hug me and gave me a kiss with such joy!  She will forever be in my Heart ❤️.
