Our beloved, Rosie Balderas-Guerrero's journey began on December 20, 1955, born in Casa Grande, Arizona. Rosie is the 8th of 12 children. As a young girl her family moved to the city of Pacoima, California. At the age of 18 she had her first child, Jaime, who then was followed by daughters Marina and Melissa. Soon after, Rosie met the love of her life, Sammy, at the age of 24. Sammy "lied" in order to persuade her to date him and told Rosie he was 22, but he was only 19! A year later, Sammy and Rosie had their first daughter, Veronica, in 1981. In 1989, Sammy and Rosie packed up the kids and moved to their first home in Lancaster, California, known as "The Ranch". In 1989, Vanessa, their youngest daughter, was born, followed by Samuel Pablo Guerrero also known as "Chico" on April 10, 1995, who sadly passed away on October 4, 1995. Rosie continued her job at Weber's Bread for 18 years until she was forced to retire due to illness. Rosie was a strong willed woman who worked so hard for years even through her struggle with diabetes, which led to 11 years on dialysis until her passing on November 14, 2016. Rosie is a beloved wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother survived by her husband, Sammy, son, Jaime, and daughters, Marina, Melissa, Veronica and Vanessa. She is loved and will be dearly missed by 22 grandchildren and preceded in death by her parents, Olga and Guadalupe, siblings, Julio, Joe, Willy, Urvana, Gus and her precious granddaughter, Maritza "Amor" Ramos.
