Milton Murray Mendelsohn of Winnetka, California, passed away Thursday, October 15, 2015 (2 Cheshvan 5776), at 96. Memorial services will be held Wednesday, October 21, 2015, at 2 pm, in the Groman Eden Chapel of Groman Eden Mortuary. Burial services will be held Monday, October 26, 2015, at 9:45 am, at Riverside National Cemetery, 22495 Van Buren Blvd., Riverside. Services will be officiated by Rabbi Michael Barclay. Mr. Mendelsohn, an Honorably Discharged Veteran of the United States Army, WWII, is survived by his beloved wife, Lorena Mendelsohn; his daughter, Denise (Mark) Bacovsky; his sisters-in-law, Ruth (Dick, Of Blessed Memory) Fine; Judy (David, Of Blessed Memory) Eggers, and Mary (Jim) Smith; his grandchildren, Julie (Jeff) Zacher, Brian Bruce, Chris Bruce, Jamie (Ryan) Garrison, and Jessica (Bryant) Nelson; his great-grandchildren, Ben Zacher, Hannah Zacher, Mitchell Zacher, Cleo Garrison, and Jovy Garrison; his nieces and nephews, Erin Eggers, Paul (Ashley) Eggers, Jordin (Michelle) Mendelsohn, Karen (Neal) Dem, Sari (Merritt) Schreiber, Christy Smith, Danny Smith, and Jacob Smith; and his great-nieces and great-nephews, Roanna (Marc) Mostman, Rick (Frankye) Dem, Evan Schreiber, Casey Schreiber, and Ryan Mendelsohn.
