Sandi spent her early years on a farm outside of Devon in the community of Clymont. In the early 1970’s Sandi moved with her parents to Dunster B.C. Their stay there was only a few years before they relocated to Dewdney and lived on a beautiful acreage. Sandi attended Hatzic School and it was here that she formed permanent friendships and settled in.
One of Sandi’s great accomplishments was accepting the role of mother to Alicia and Derek Judd. Sandi cared for them and loved them as she was the mother they knew. Alicia and Derek loved her right back and kept in touch until the very end.
Sandi leaves behind her family, many friends and Cheyenne Yellowbird who was a long time friend and companion. Cheyenne cared for Sandi and was with her when she passed.
